Bayswater Childcare and Kinder in Bayswater, VIC

The staff is highly dedicated and creates a nurturing environment where children can thrive. The curriculum is well-designed, incorporating both educational and fun activities that promote learning and growth. The staff's passion for early childhood education is evident in their commitment to individualized attention and fostering a love for learning. As a parent, I am grateful to have found such a wonderful establishment that truly values the development of young minds. Our facilities are designed with your child’s safety and comfort in mind.
Before Charlotte boronia childcare sits down for lunch with her friends and educators, Charlotte takes part in the centre’s sports program. Sports helps Charlotte improve her flexibility and strength (perfect for growing bodies!). Sports also allows her to practice different skills in a fun and engaging way.

We are so grateful for everything Community Kids has done for our daughter and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other families. Both my kids love it and are thriving thanks to the help of all the educators. My kids have a relationship with every single educator as it’s a small centre which puts me at ease. I know that no matter who is in the room with them they feel comfortable, safe and secure.
When children feel safe, seen, and supported, they are more willing to explore, take risks, and express  themselves. These early years lay the foundation for their identity, well-being, and lifelong love of learning. Most of our child care and early education centres offer nappies and wipes, sunscreen and hats, as well as nutritious meals prepared by our in-house cook. Some centres also provide sheets and formula, so you may not need to remember to pack them. A centre tour is a convenient way to experience the childcare centre of your choice and meet with our qualified educators at a time that is suitable for your family’s schedule. They want to learn and explore, which is why we teach through play-based learning.
With extensive experience and a passion for early childhood education, our staff is committed to nurturing a love of learning in every child. We create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where children feel valued, safe, and inspired to explore their interests. Our early learning centre offers the VIC Government-approved Kindergarten program, supporting your child’s development and well-being from now, at school and beyond. In Victoria, 3 and 4-year-old children are able to access a funded kindergarten program led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher. If eligible, your child will be able to participate in the Government-approved Kindergarten program, at no cost, up to a minimum of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

She is also improving her hand eye coordination, manipulative skills and muscular strength. The kids are always busy playing, creating, and laughing, and the whole space just feels really safe and welcoming. We believe in providing facilities that are ever evolving to the needs of our children, staff and families. We will endeavour to always look at ways to enhance and improve our environments, both indoors and outdoors. Choosing the right program involves evaluating your child’s capacity for structured time, your family’s schedule, and the level of convenience and flexibility required. Our Maternal and Child Health service is a free and confidential service providing child health and developmental checks, information, advice and support to families with young children from birth to 6 years.

When speaking with families, I always acknowledge that home is a child’s first teacher. At the same time, I help them understand the added benefits of a dedicated early learning environment. Our curriculum is play-based, intentionally designed, and led by trained educators who know how to observe, extend, and scaffold each child’s learning. Our early learning centre also offer invaluable opportunities for children to develop social skills, learning how to share, cooperate, and navigate friendships in a safe and supported space.
The National Quality Standard (NQS) is part of the National Quality Framework (NQF), introduced to enhance the quality of early childhood education and care services in Australia. Under the NQS, childcare services are assessed and rated for the quality of education and care they provide. These ratings give parents a clear understanding of how well a service meets national standards, helping them make the best choice for their child’s needs. Our purpose-built child care and kindergarten centre provides innovative early learning in a safe, nurturing and enriching environment. Children enjoy spacious outdoor play areas featuring a large bike track, climbing fort and swings, along with four purpose-built indoor rooms designed for independent and social play. Our kindergarten room includes an interactive whiteboard, supporting engaging learning experiences led  by experienced Early Childhood Teachers.
We warmly invite you to book a tour of our centre at a time that suits you. We look forward to welcoming you and your family to Goodstart Bayswater North. Your child is advancing from infancy toward and into the preschool years.
