I want to say BIG THANK YOU to all childcare educators at PLAY childcare especially Maddison and Lely in nursery 1 for taking care of my baby. I was worried when I send my baby to childcare and she cried a lot at several first days. But just after a month, I saw my baby happy smile playing when I went pick her up, I know I send my baby to the right place. My child attended this center and I am extremely pleased with the care and support she received. The educators are attentive, nurturing, and truly dedicated to meeting her individual needs.
I feel incredibly lucky to be leading such a dedicated and experienced team here at Community Kids Bayswater. Many of our educators have been with the centre for several years and bring a wealth of knowledge about the children, families, kindergarden near bayswater and local community. What stands out most is their genuine passion for what they do.
The orientation process is flexible to meet a family’s individual needs, though we recommend two to three orientation sessions before the child’s first full day. We always recommend that you book your child in for short periods of time to begin with (1/2 an hour to an hour maximum), to familiarise them with the new environment and the other children and Educators. This will make for an easier transition for your child and help. Hi Tameika, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
As a first time Mum sending my child off to be looked after by someone else was scary - they made everything so easy and supported me every step of the way. A beautiful team of people striving for the same goals - every child reaching their potential. Kindergarten is a unique time for learning with peers and developing skills for later learning including confidence and curiosity, important skills for starting school. Our teachers and educators encourage the children to learn through play to help enhance their sensory-motor development. This happens through carefully planned music, dance, games, role playing and reading experiences. Our toddler room is set up with intentional play-based learning in mind.

I started my journey as an Early Childhood Teacher, then stepped into a Curriculum Leader role in 2023, and have been a Centre Manager since September 2024. With Child Care Subsidy changes coming in 2026, now’s the perfect time to explore what makes our centres so special. With so many open roles in the sector at the moment, I think we should be talking about the differences that really sets Nido apart. From my own experience, they are not always obvious from the outside, but when you get to meet the Nido family you really feel it. Our daily fee includes everything your child needs throughout the day, with no extra charges. We warmly invite you to book a tour of our centre at a time that suits you.

I started my career as a floater and have grown through a range of roles including room leader, 2IC and now Centre Manager. I hold a Certificate III and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, and I’m proud of the experience I’ve gained so far in this rewarding sector. I love being part of each child’s learning journey and creating a home away from home where they feel safe, valued and supported. There’s nothing better than seeing a child’s face light up when they discover or achieve something new. There are three rooms at Bayswater Childcare & Kinder that each cater to a different developmental stage.
