Please see our current daily price for child care (long day care) below. The government Child Care Subsidy (CCS) aims to make early learning more affordable for eligible families. How much subsidy your family is entitled to will depend on how much ‘work related’ activity you and your partner undertake each fortnight. Whether it’s learning about safety, understanding how our community works, or simply enjoying a visit from a familiar face. These partnerships help bring learning to life and ensure every child feels part of their local community throughout their early learning journey. A centre tour is a convenient way to experience the childcare centre of your choice and meet with our qualified educators at a time that is suitable for your family’s schedule.
Story House Early Learning’s daily fee includes meals, nappies, wipes, sunscreen, learning programs, extracurricular activities, digital kindergarten funding victoria updates, and supportive care essentials. Everything is designed to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for your child’s growth. Our early learning centre offers the VIC Government-approved Kindergarten program, supporting your child’s development and well-being from now, at school and beyond. In Victoria, 3 and 4-year-old children are able to access a funded kindergarten program led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
My daughter has gained so much knowledge since being enrolled — her speech has come so far, she’s always happy, and she comes home full of stories to tell me. She genuinely loves going, and we’re so grateful for the wonderful team who make it such a positive place. I'm beyond impressed with the level of care and attention provided. My daughter started in the Toddler 1 room and settled in beautifully—she genuinely looks forward to going every day. I couldn't be more satisfied and would wholeheartedly recommend this centre to any parent seeking exceptional care.
Not only are the staff across the whole center amazing with the kids, they genuinely care about your whole family unit. Very friendly, dedicated and above all else, they love the kids in their care. YMCA Pakenham has shown us nothing but warmth since my daughters started here.
If eligible, your child will be able to participate in the Government-approved Kindergarten program, at no cost, up to a minimum of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Our nursery room is purposely designed to make every baby feel safe exploring and discovering new things. Our spaces are filled with sensory experiences and activities to encourage intentional and responsive play-based learning. We focus on building secure relationships between children and educators, closely following home routines, and supporting each child in meeting their developmental milestones.
All meals are planned and prepared by qualified nutritionists and chefs to help children develop good eating habits. If you see 'Price on application' or 'Enquire for pricing' the centre is not making their fees available online. The best option is to submit an enquiry requesting fee information which will be sent to the centre. The average price is calculated using all available centre fees and normalised to a 10 hour day. The staff have great communication and always attempt their level best to resolve any queries.
