Unique Gifts and Souvenirs from Taitung

Taitung is known for its stunning landscapes, but what many people don’t know is that it’s also home to some of the most beautiful natural hot springs in Taiwan. For example, the island’s southeastern side boasts incredible natural scenery, naturally warm weather, and loads of fun things to do.  Apart from souvenirs you’ll find all kinds of items such as clothes and designer bags too sold there.
While their limited menu comprises only three delectable cuisines, they offer these dishes at affordable prices. I have been there a few years ago, the place has a retro character and it was not as crowded as it is now. 臺東旅遊帶什麼 Also, after the renovation it looks modern but it lost the vintage feel. Also, the number of customers and the waiting time for the meal became a bit ridiculous. The food itself is OK but nothing great in my opinion.

It’s a 5 minute walk from the Taitung Train Station, and a lot of aboriginal artifacts were found here during the construction of the Taitung Train Station. Otherwise, you won’t miss too much if you skip this. It’s a bit hard to get around Taitung via public transportation. Although that can work if you really wanted to, it will take up a lot of your time. Furthermore, the public transportation schedules are not reliable at all. In general, getting around is very simple using Taiwan's ➡️ EasyCard or ➡️ IPass.
There's is not an actual public hotspring here. Go to the temple nearby, get inside, they have bathtubs with hot and cold water, "pay" a small donation in the entrance when you finish  using them . Young woman serving was very helpful and friendly. Skip skip skip, good customer service and readily available fried chicken but not half as good as Ahong nearby. We got the same exact meal with a chicken wing, leg, chicken pieces, And a drink here. It's fine but too bad we had Ahong already so this just pales in comparison.
The county is also known for its distinctive local products, from premium rice, day lilies, hibiscus, and sugar apples to sailfish, bonito , and other specialty seafood items. Small night market but the food variety are good thou. The night market have one stall selling dessert. Their egg tart and cream puff taste quite good thou. You can view the extraordinary dark blue ocean and beautiful bright blue sky while feeling the breeze run through your body. Recommend to go here for relaxing and enjoy your time.

After the trek comes traditional songs of greeting plus harvest, hunting and courting songs, an archery lesson using old-style bows and a grand alfresco native-cuisine buffet. Taitung City’s international-caliber National Museum of Prehistory() is a showcase platform for important local archeological finds. They add a 10% service charge, which I have only seen in high end restaurants in big cities.  But was extremely disappointed to find a huge piece of plastic in my cabbage. And we were comped that dish and a bottle of juice only.
